About Me

My name is Ella McCaleb and before starting Optimal Speech Solutions, my experience included working with kids and adults at Solace Pediatric Home Health.

My professional interests include but are not limited to, voice therapy, cognitive rehabilitation, stuttering, dysphagia treatment, language treatment, and working with individuals on the autism spectrum. I have a certification in LSVT LOUD, a program designed to train speech-language clinicians in a voice/speech treatment technique for adults and children with motor speech disorders, with a specialty in Parkinson's disease.

I provide individualized, evidence-based practices to best support each patient’s unique needs. I hope to establish strong relationships with not only my patients but their families as well, to ensure optimal carryover with speech therapy at home. I strongly advocate for my clients and consistently create new “functional” therapy tasks.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, camping, and playing with my Great Dane.

My Story

I started Optimal Speech Solutions so I could directly address the diverse needs of individuals seeking effective communication solutions. With a personal history of a childhood stutter, I have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those with speech disorders, allowing me to offer empathetic, evidence-based, and tailored therapy.

Over the years, I have treated a wide variety of speech and language disorders, gaining invaluable experience across multiple settings, including schools, clinics, homes, and private practices. This experience has equipped me with the skills to provide comprehensive and individualized care to clients of all ages and backgrounds. My goal is to create a supportive and professional environment where clients feel empowered to achieve their communication goals with confidence.

I am thrilled to start this new chapter as the owner of Optimal Speech Solutions and to continue my growth and knowledge about this field!
